We spent Easter 2009 with my family in Mississippi. It was so good to be with them and be in church Sunday morning as a family. We really enjoyed ourselves on our mini-vacation. Trista and Brandon, thank you for letting us stay with you and make a big mess of your house! We love you guys!
Kelsey on her first trip to Mississippi.

Corban helping himself to some corn on the cob.
Dinner at Mom and Dad's Saturday night. My dad is the grill master! We had the best seafood I've ever had! Even Chris, who is normally not a big fan of seafood loved it!
Ethan and Corban riding on Corban's motorcycle. (Made for only one)
The boys playing in the wagon.

Corban tried to pull Grandpa in the wagon and said "TOO BIG!"
Brunch!

Sisters after church on Easter Sunday.

Ethan trying to keep Corban in one place so we could take his picture.
Grandpa, Nana, and all the grandkids.

My brother-in-law, Brandon, Trista, Corban, Chris, Ethan, Kelsey, and me.
Easter treats for Ethan, Corban, and Kelsey.
Digging a hole with Grandpa. It got so big that Corban could sit in it!!!

Aunt Trista helping the boys find eggs.
Hunting Easter eggs. Ethan found more than Corban, but Corban definitely held his own!
Nana and Grandpa swinging Corban around.
Corban and Uncle Chris. This little man wanted nothing to do with me, but he loves his Uncle Chris!!!
We went to the Mississippi state capitol in Jackson on our "mini vacation"

Little Miss Supermodel baby. She's cute and very well aware of it!
Nana and Kelsey. She'd gotten a lot bigger since the last time Mom saw her!!!
Nana feeding Kelsey the night before we came home.
Ethan loves to watch Grandpa play Xbox. I'm not sure if my dad's choice of games is always the best influence on Ethan, but what can you do? Grandpa will be Grandpa.

Ethan took took this picture of Kelsey. He's quite the little photographer. I think it's a very good picture.
Kelsey feeling cuddly with Poppa and
Daddy.

The spring "blizzard". It was sooo cold and snowy and windy. There were cars in ditches and slush and ice everywhere. What a miserable day!

Cold blowing snow....
Snow on my car. I cannot believe how much we got. Isn't this supposed to be spring?????
All the snow at the edge of the driveway...quickly melting.
The day after the "blizzard". The tree in my yard looks so bizarre with the blooms on it and all the snow around it.

Kelsey's four month check-up was yesterday. She is getting so big. She now weighs 13 lbs. 6 oz. and is 25 inches long! She has more than doubled her birth weight and has grown 7 inches! I think she is going to be tall and skinny just like her brother. She got two shots in her chubby little leg and cried and cried. Of course, I cried too. I made Chris hold her on the table because I wanted no part in making my little cupcake hurt!

Precious baby Kelsey.
My kids are beautiful.
Right now, this is the only headband my girl has. Everything else requires hair......Can't wait for the hair to happen!

My sister-in-law, Paula sent Kelsey this tutu and hairbow...I've never seen anything so precious in my entire life!!!

Ethan's got it rough. He's so stressed out that he had to take a bubble bath!!!

I've never seen a baby suck on it's fingers/thumbs as much as Kelsey. It's soooo adorable.
Ethan's new haircut...he won't look like an elf again for at least another two weeks...
Trista, does this look familiar to you???
